Kamapulya Bottega Artigiana is more than just a workshop; it is a Florentine dream realized through clay and fire. Founded in 2010 by Lucia Moretti, a master ceramicist with a lifelong passion for Tuscan artistry, our bottega stands as a testament to the enduring beauty of handmade ceramics. Lucia's journey began in the rolling hills of Tuscany, where she learned ancient pottery techniques from local artisans, absorbing the region’s rich artistic heritage like the clay absorbs water.

Driven by a desire to preserve these traditions while infusing them with contemporary creativity, Lucia established Kamapulya in the vibrant Oltrarno district, Florence's artisan heart. The name 'Kamapulya,' meaning 'artistic workshop' in Sanskrit, reflects our global inspiration and commitment to universal artistic values, even as we remain deeply rooted in Florentine soil. Our mission extends beyond crafting exquisite ceramics; we aim to create a welcoming space where art lovers can connect with the process of creation, learn the magic of pottery, and take home a piece of authentic Tuscan soul.

Over the years, Kamapulya has grown into a collective of passionate artisans, each bringing their unique skills and perspectives. Marco Giuliani, our lead designer, joined in 2015, adding a modern, innovative edge to our traditional techniques. Together, we explore new forms, experiment with glazes inspired by the Tuscan landscape, and continuously seek to elevate the craft.
